i brought gino into broadcasting @ the old kbox in 65′.

he was (like roy) raised in a good christian home and the things he did in later life drove him to suicide.

roy offered through his contacts (stamps baxter quaertet) to help get me married in the church of christ to my wife of 45 years.

i worked with roy’s brother in law jack kortigast @ ch 4.

these were good times with good memories.

pray sylvia and jerry (the sweet widows) find peace and happiness.

I was also lucky to see Willie & Snoop in 2008. I was almost up front and took a lot of pictures. It was one of the most beautiful days in my life, I still feel happy when I think back of it.

Last year we’ve made reservations for our trip to Texas and a week later some shows for Georgia and Mississippi were announced. I really felt sick, because we had a fixed schedule and couldn’t make it to one of the shows. We had a great vacation, but this year we will see at least one show of Willie.

Paris is great. You’ll sure have a lot of fun there, but for you I hope Willie will return to Amsterdam before he flies back to Texas

We saw Willie and Family at the Melweg in 2008 with Snoop Dogg making a surprise appearance. Willie returned the favor at Snoop’s show the next night. It was am amazing night. I hope that you get to your show(s). I am so thankful that we got tickets to Paris or we would have been shut out and I would have been sick! We see Mark Knopfler in Amsterdam for a few nights at the end of June and I was ready (and still am) to give up one night for Willie.

If so, please before June 30, because we’ve plans to go to Texas by then I really hope to get to see Willie, Lane. Last year I missed him in the States bacause he wasn’t in Texas at the time we were there …

I am going to cry. We get to Europe on the 24th of June. Oh well…we’ll always have Paris! Who knows, maybe another couple of dates get added after Paris. Even possibly back to Holland?
