The second annual Johnny Cash Music Festival raised approximately $200,000 to help fund the restoration of his boyhood home in Dyess, Ark., and to support a scholarship fund established in his name. His daughter, Rosanne Cash, hosted the October 5th event at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro featuring performances by Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, the Civil Wars and others.
