An Evening With Farm Aid in Boulder County, Colorado (June 27, 2012)

Farm Aid is holding a fundraising event in Longmont, Colorado, this summer. An Evening With Farm Aid is an opportunity to celebrate family farmers and Farm Aid’s work to keep them on the land and thriving. The event will take place at Pastures of Plenty Farm in Longmont on Wednesday, June 27.

Our hosts, Lyle Davis and Sylvia Tawse, are vital players in the Good Food Movement, which brings good food from family farms to all of us. Lyle is a certified organic farmer, the founder and co-owner of Pastures of Plenty Farm. Sylvia is the founder and Chief Fresh Officer for Fresh Ideas Group, a communications and marketing agency that began in 1995 to serve the natural and organic marketplace. FiG’s tenacity is born of their core belief that saving the planet is as simple as changing the way we eat, drink and do business.

Enjoy food from the farm, dessert and local brews at the reception, which will feature a live musical performance by Jesse Dee.
