The Willie Nelson Peace Research Institute has posted another artist singing ‘A Peaceful Solution,’ the song that Willie and Amy Nelson wrote, and then kindly offered others the chance to record it, freely. You can see the video of Kristina Elise Fitzsimmons singing “A Peaceful Solution” at www.WillieNelsonPRI.com.
Kristina says:
“We may not agree on much, but we all agree that we need our earth to survive. When we share this common vision, peace has a chance. We are all family, it’s about time we started acting like it. Through song and as a community, anything is possible. We can turn this thing around!
‘We can be the most positive element on this earth and we are not stuck in the mode of being the most negative, our children need to know this’ –Permaculturist, Geoff Lawton.
New jobs, healthier lifestyles, happy farmers, and a home for our grandchildren; wouldn’t that be nice?! Tell your local leaders that the renewable energy solutions are here. Stand up and implement!
Buy local, buy organic, vote with your pennies, and watch your town bloom.Connect and redirect, the course of the world. Who is sailing this ship anyway?”
The Willie Nelson Peace Research institute was launched last year, and has become a great resource for learning peaceful ways to live, and how we can thrive and our planet can continue to thrive in the process.
Also, you can learn how you can submit your own version of this song to the site, if you feel so inspired. Willie and Amy have both recorded the song (Willie many times, alone, in duets, with family and with his family band), and you can hear all their wonderful versions at the site.
