Thank you, friends. I could have gone on and on, but had to get to work. I thought about “Willie Speaks out for Prairie Dogs,” or something. Next year, will all of you write one up?
Well, maybe he has! Here in Boulder, protecting prairie dogs is a big thing. Next county over they can be shot, but in Boulder they are protected. The city has paid for prairie dogs to be moved to allow for construction. Special fences are built which go down into the grounds to keep them in certain fields. There are organizations who work to protect them.
