Hundreds of shows will support the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians all over town on this annual mega-fundraiser day, but this event organized by the House of Songs stands out. Host Graham Weber has brought about 20 local musicians to sing the songs of Austin’s most famous musical visionary, including Monte Warden, Suzanna Choffel, Colin Gilmore, Carson McHone and Jonathan Terrell. About HAMM:

Health care shouldn’t be a luxury for musicians in the Live Music Capital of the World. The mission of the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians is to provide access to affordable health care for Austin’s low-income, working musicians with a focus on prevention and wellness.

Many of Austin’s musicians juggle two jobs on top of music, and still struggle to pay for food and shelter. With no money for health care, issues with teeth, hearing loss, heart health and more get ignored, and become expensive emergencies.

HAAM and our partners provide care to improve musicians’ health and save lives while preserving their careers and quality of life.
