American Classic (BLUE NOTE ***) is a belated follow-up to his 1978 set of Tin Pan Alley standard’s, Stardust. The 76-year-old workaholic croons his way appealingly, if a tad shakily, through the likes of Fly Me To The Moon and Come Rain Or Come Shine.
