Fire at Charley’s Restaurant and Bar in Pa’ia

Maui officials said that a fire reported at 12:56 a.m. today caused an estimated $200,000 in structure damage and $150,000 in damage to the contents of Charley’s Restaurant and Bar in Pa’ia. There were no injuries reported and the business was not open at the time.

Five fire engines responded and the fire was extinguished at 2:42 a.m. The cause of fire is under investigation.

[I hope Giant Trigger and other Willie items are okay.]

    I just played there last Friday night. A friend of mine walked through there the day after the fire and said the damage was pretty severe. I’ll try to find out more and let you know.
