Today’s the day! The new album by Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real is officially out today. People have been grabbing up advance copies from the band’s website, but today the new album is available at more outlets. I just purchased one from iTunes and it’s on my iphone already synched up. I want a cd, but I’ll get one at their next show I get to see. Get yours today! You’ll thank me later.
To celebrate the release, the band will appear on the David Letterman show, tonight. Check your local CBS listings.
This Friday, the band will have a CD release party at Antones in Austin, Texas. If you live close enough to get there by Friday — go for it. That is going to be a party, and you can get a new cd and have the band sign it!
And BONUS — Micah Nelson will be live painting during the Antone’s show. The artwork will be auctioned off at a silent auction (bid sheet at Merchandise table). Auction ends when the music stops.
