Lukas Nelson & Promise of The Real unveiled the official video for “Bad Case.” The song is the lead single from the band’s forthcoming studio album Turn Off The News (Build A Garden), which is due out on June 14 via Fantasy Records.

Nelson stars in the video as a gunslinger with the rest of the group featured in the video dressed in vintage western wear. The clip also intersperses performance footage. Adria Petty and Alan Bibby directed the video for the Traveling Wilburys-inspired song. The clip was filmed at Willie Nelson’s famed Luck Ranch near Austin.

“Lukas and Promise of the Real are amazing musicians and human beings, so it was a huge honor to work on this collaboration shoulder to shoulder,” said Adria Petty. “And it was a dream come true getting to direct again with Alan Bibby (we co-directed ‘Princess Of China’ for Coldplay and Rihanna previously) as he is one of my dearest friends and co-creators. We were both raised on Willie Nelson and Outlaw country, so shooting at such an amazing place with such special energy as Luck Ranch was incredibly inspiring. The video is a combination of genres we love – the color reversal look of Sergio Leone’s classic westerns, Easy Rider, and the experimental nature of 60s psychedelic films and rock imagery.”

Turn Off The News (Build A Garden) was recorded with co-producer John Alagia straight to analog tape at Shangri-La studio in Malibu and at the Village Studios in West Los Angeles. Lukas and Promise Of The Real are joined by on the LP by a slew of notable contributors including Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Kesha, Lucius, Micah Nelson and Shooter Jennings.
