Mickey Raphael took his mother to meet Kinky Friedman last Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in Dallas, when Kinky launched his run for governor of Texas. Mickey credits this great photo to his friend and El Paso, Texas photographer, Brian Kanof.
Willie Nelson appeared at the fundraiser, and fans got autographs and photographs.

Nice you see it too, Linda. I haven’t seen a picture of his dad (I thought I’ve seen one at Mickey’s old website), but when I look at his Mom’s eyes and her sweet smile, I see Mickey …
The picture is still on his new website, under the “DISCOGRAPHY” link. You click on discography, then once there click on the discography link again. It was the only way I could figure out to post the discography.
