This is one I made. It’s one of three from Willie’s Fourth of July Picnic in 2005, at the Stockyards in Fort Worth.  It’s not a seamless production, but it does give you a feel for the picnic and the music. I didn’t record everyone who played; this one is Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson and Family.
Here’s the set list.  Â
- Bob Dylan, I’ll be Your Baby Tonight
- Bob Dylan, some song I don’t know,
- Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, You Win Again
- Bob Dylan, Highway 61
- Bob Dylan, Shooting Star
- Willie Nelson & Family, Whiskey River
- Willie Nelson & Family, Still is Still Moving to Me
- Willie Nelson & Family, Whiskey for My Men (Beer for My Horses)
- Willie Nelson & Family, Pancho and Lefty
- Willie Nelson & Family, w/Lukas Nelson on guitar, “Flooding Down in Texas”
- Willie Nelson & Family, Mama, Don’t Let your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys
- Willie Nelson & Family, The harder they come, the harder they fall
- Willie Nelson & Family, Good Hearted Woman

You are the only botleger I know that Willie loves.
willie doesn’t have a problem with tapers who trade. he doesn’t want anyone to charge money for them or make a buck off of his concerts, but he has no problem with trading for pleasure. he’s much like the grateful dead or dave matthews–tape the concert if you want to. plus, it’s just good business to allow your fans to tape shows. it breeds good will.
and God bless him for being so cool about taping. it’s another reason to love the guy.
So many reasons to love the guy!
Oh, Janis, you say the sweetest things!
