Sheila Kirsten Hughes created this beautiful version of the song ’A Peaceful Solution,’ and sent it to the Willie Nelson Peace Research Institute (http://WillieNelsonPRI.com). This is a professional production of a beautiful rendition of this song written by Willie and Amy Nelson.Â
Sheila says that at YouTube:
Encouraged to make our own version of the song, I sat down with my guitar and to see what I could come up with. Once I got the main riff down, I started to hear cello and violin in my head. Then Chris heard it and chimed in with the bass, then came up with the idea of including our good friend Alex Wolfe Parnes on drums. Before you know it, Alex was playing electric guitar, too, and we had this full production song going.
Then Chris came up with the idea of shooting the video for it in our 1963 GMC tour bus for “someday” (it needs a lot of work). Since Willie wrote the song on his tour bus with his daughter, it seemed fitting. Turns out, the bus makes a great set since it’s gutted out and dingy inside.
Next, JWG Productions, the guys who shot our video for “Different People,” offered to help us shoot this video, too, along with our good friend David. We had a great time shooting it. Just a blast, and I hope that comes through in the video. Big thanks to Willie Nelson’s PRI site for the opportunity! Enjoy.
