Horses are living legends of American History yet we continue to slaughter over 100,000 horses annually. Thanks to Animal Welfare Institute, (AWI), U.S. slaughterhouses were closed down. However, the cruel business of slaughter continues by crowding horses in trailers for over 700 miles to Mexico and Canada, without food or water. These plants in Mexico are killing the horses savagely, by multiple stabbings until they drop to their knees in order to slit their throats, causing them to suffer slow painful deaths.
Once again, it’s time to flood the phone lines and emails of our legislatures. Ask them to co-sponsor and demand a vote on the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act (H.R.503/S. 311).

Hey I just have to tell you that horse slaughter is sick I hate it I would do any thing to stop it. Thousands of horses die a year. If my horse got sent to a slaughter house i might go hostle (just a figure of speach). I want horse slaughter to STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey I was just thinking if we would all just cooporate with stoping horse slaughter that it would all just go to an end. I think that it is sad that 90% of horses sent to slaughter houses are young,healthy and deserve a better life.
Hey horse slaughter is sick and why cant people just wake up and think.Theres anough cows to feed the world and if they want extra meat they can use pigs.Horses are soposed to life long healthy happy lives there not soposed to be torchered and made into glue, dogfood, and beef.If I ever go out of the U.S. I will refuse to eat beef. I never liked beef even before I heard of the crule and mean horse slaughter.
This has got to stop!!! I hate horse slaughter with a passion!! I cant stand it!! it is horrible and sad! How can the people that work in the slaughter houses stand to look at them selfs? I’ll tell u why the have no hearts!! i hope someone dose something bad to them! I dont know how they think god forgives them!! I hate it!!!
