Willie Neson recorded this song, along with others, for his “Red Headed Stranger” album, on February 9, 1975.   Willie Nelson records “Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain” at Autumn Sound in Garland, Texas. The song was included in his “Red Headed Stranger” album, and became number on on the country music charts. The song was written by Fred Rose, and originally recorded by Roy Acuff in 1945. Eddy Arnold sang it in 1963. Hank Williams also performed the song on the “Mother’s Best Flour” radio show.
