Wille’s Place, on Satellite Radio Sirius 64, and XM 13, is celebrating the upcoming release of the Willie and the Wheel album on Saturday, Jan. 31 & Sunday, Feb. 1. The new album by Willie Nelson, Mickey Raphael, Ray Benson and Asleep at the Wheel is a salute to Western Swing featuring new recordings of songs hand-picked by the late producer Jerry Wexler.
Willie’s Place will feature a song from the album every hour throughout the weekend, along with commentary from Willie himself and Asleep at the Wheel leader Ray Benson. The album won’t be released until Tuesday, Feb. 3, but you can hear every track before you can buy it in stores by tuning into this special Willie & The Wheel Weekend at Willie’s Place.
