Music fans packed First Arena Tuesday night for Willie Nelson’s concert.
I always loved (Nelson’s music),” said Walter Cunningham of South Corning, who said his favorite Nelson tune is “Crazy,” made popular by Patsy Cline. “Yeah, he’s a performer.”
Fans stood to welcome Nelson and his band as they took the stage.

Nelson opened with “Whiskey River” with a quick segue into “Still is Still Moving to Me.”
Fans sang along when Nelson invited them to join in the chorus on the next number, “Beer for My Horses.”
The award-winning country singer has been promoting his recent album, “Naked Willie,” which features some of his earlier recordings, remixed to be closer to his own artistic intent.
