Willie Nelson, Keith Urban, Kid Rock and Miranda Lambert head up the initial lineup for the 17th edition of Country Thunder USA near Florence.
Also scheduled to perform April 14-17 at the festival are actor-singer Kevin Costner and his band, Modern West, Gary Allan, Jo Dee Messina, Big Kenny of Big & Rich, Gloriana, Neal McCoy, the Grascals and Collin Raye.
The event, which has drawn more than 100,000 fans to Canyon Moon Ranch, about an hour’s drive southeast of Phoenix, in recent years, has been moved to later in the month to avoid conflicting with two NASCAR races on April 9 and 10 in Avondale.
Rounding out the early lineup for the festival are Eric Church, Randy Houser, Luke Bryan, Jason Jones, Trailer Choir, Love & Theft and musical comics Williams & Ree. More acts will be announced in coming months.
The 50-acre festival site will house scores of vendors, a “saloon” with a second stage and 4,000 campsites.
