We saw him at his 'birthday' party in San Antonio last year, with Merle Haggard, and some other country legends. What was interesting is that his son came out and played a whole set; I had no idea his son was a rocker at all, just his daughter. If you ever get a chance to visit Willie's Place (about 50 miles south of Dallas on I35 in Carl's Corner), please do. It is full of wonderful memorabilia of his, our favorite part was spending the time walking along the walls and following his career in photos, to the present day. We've also visited his restaurant in Maui, HI. life long Willie fans, Larry & Ceci Willie rocks!
