I caught the glimpse of Billy Joe Shaver and also Gene Watson, whom I saw for the first time at the North Georgia Mountain Fair this past summer.
He also has his groupies!;)

Gene is at 2:03 plus a few seconds,
His show was actually very good, but he just did not have that charisma that Willie has, esp after the show signing, etc!
One of his most famous songs is “Paper Roses”, which I actually love!
I’m wrong, and I knew it.
The name of the song is “Paper Rosie.”
A beautiful song!
