For twenty years, Boulder’s radio station KBCO has invited artists into their  Studio C, to perform live.  It started in 1988, when Melissa Etheridge performed in a small cramped, Studio C, which has since been remodelled and enlarged.  Now, artists passing through Colorado on tour stop by to play live on the radio.  The station releases a CD every year in late November or early December with the best or most memorable Studio C performances. People line up all night to buy the cd, which sells out in a matter of hours and all proceeds from the album are donated to charity.  They only let you buy two.   You can still find copies of cds from earlier years on ebay, Amazon etc., and Volume 10 always sell for a lot on Amazon, ebay, etc.
