Willie Nelson & Family, Aurora, IL (April 11, 12, 2012)

What more can legendary country singer Willie Nelson do at this point in his career? He’s won too many awards to mention; been inducted into a few halls of fame (including the National Agricultural Hall of Fame as a founder of Farm Aid); collaborated with artists from all genres; performed at arenas all over the world; acted in movies and on TV; went through the downfalls of being an entertainer (money problems, drugs); wrote books; been an advocate for many causes. We guess he’ll just keep on riding that bus until the wheels fall off.

Why go: The golden sounds from Nelson and his Family band (made up of real family members) touring with him.

Details: 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Paramount Theatre, 23 E. Galena Blvd., Aurora; $69-$79; 630-896-6666, www.paramountaurora.com.
