Seriously, If one was to have an original composition complete with sound track on a C.D. that is taylor made for Willie’s voice and style, that he would appreciate and could easily be his next Top Ten recording__How would one go about getting Willie to give a listen.

Hey, Ruth. Willie Nelson’s website and the Official Fan Club, http://www.clubluck.willienelson.com are both official sites. You can get tickets through the Fan Club, the one that you have to pay $29.95 annually for membership. It is a nice club because you can get tickets in advance, and also you can get tickets ahead of itme, before they go on sale to general public. Otherwise, http://www.willienelson.com has all the same news and info as the Club Luck site. Both of them are official sites, run by his family members, daughter and granddaughter, and I don’t know who all. Before Facebook, there used to be a lot of people checking in to the Fan Sites, to keep up with other fans, in the forum. I think some fans still do, too. Now, fans are using FaceBook to communicate and share information and stories, as well. There is still the original fanclub, that has the quarterly newsletter “willie’s world”, and I think I put the address up to be part of that fanclub. Dandy has been running it for years, and she sends out cool annual calendars, too. I don’t have a fan club, just this fan blog. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

http://www.willienelson.com does list all the official shows for their tour. Sometimes venues or promoters will leak the info ahead of time, as well, but once they are up on WN.com, they are official shows. They sell tickets to most shows, send out newsletters in advance (most times, when they know), to let you know when they are selling advance tickets. You can trust both of willie’s websites, and they are a good place to get tickets through.

I’m trying to find a authentic Willlie Nelson fan club. I just signed on to one which wanted $29.95. Since I’ve never encountered that club before, one has to be cautious, did not join. Can you tell me more about yours. Is it still operating?? I want to either get tickets for New Orleans Jazz Fest or his appearance in Rockford IL in March 2011? On some sites thisvenue shows up on others it doesn’t. I’m confused. Please un-confuse me. LOL

This is to do with Willie Nelson and guitar picks etc, and, although I’m not a member, I want to say thanks to Willie for making me feel like the luckiest girl in the world (starts off with me getting HIS 75th birthday guitar pick, then the autographs, and then the hugs etc). So, if you ever get to read this, Mr Nelson, you’ll realise how happy you made me one May 6th 2008. So, thanks a bunch.
