Willie Nelson Fans are inspired by the wonderful Willie Nelson

Dee, of Virginia, tells how Willie inspired them to give.

In honor of Willie’s 75th birthday a group of us decided to make and donate Premie Hats to Knitted Cap Knitworks. KCK is a project being done by a Girl Scout, named Kaitlyn. Here’s the link to her site:
http://knittedcapknitwork.blogspot.com/Kaitlyn is collecting hats to distribute to needy babies, as well as children and young adults, so if you knit or crochet check out her website.

Several Willie fans contributed to this project, from Florida, Maine, Minnasota, New York, and Virginia. Thanks to Julie, Darlyne(Keisha), Beanie, Carol, and Pat for making such beautiful hats and for making this project so much fun. We exceeded our initial goal of 75 hats, so in addition to one for each year of Willie’s life, there are an additional 7 to honor each of his children!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILLIE! THANKS FOR BEING OUR INSPIRATION! -
