Willie Nelson & Frank Sinatra support the Space Program

NASA has released a series of amazing decades-old ads that served as PSAs for their space program, and featured plenty of familiar faces—The Space Foundation explains:

In the early 1980s, the Space Foundation created a series of public service announcements (PSAs) to inform people about the many tangible benefits of NASA’s space program. The television spots showed how the benefits reach all facets of everyday life, from advanced medical imaging to improved weather forecasting.
For the spots, they teamed up people like Frank Sinatra and Willy Nelson; Itzhak Perlman and Ray Charles; and Carol Burnett, Tom Selleck, and Tom Selleck’s mustache.
