Emanuel Martinez, a Morrison, Colorado artist, painted this mural that depicts “Morrison Through Time”. The mural measures 15′ high by 60′ long and chronologically depicts Morrison’s past to the present in six panels.  The mural is at the TNT Country Kitchen at 408 Bear Creak Avenue, in Morrison.   There are six panels, and the one shown here is Panel #5:

Panel 5: In 1911 J.B. Walker invited the famous opera singer, Mary Garden, to test the natural acoustics of the site (then known as the “Garden of the Titans”). Since then many famous artists have performed at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Depicted here are Willie Nelson, Bono of U2, John Denver, Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead, Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Judy Collins, Ella Fitzgerald, and Bonnie Raitt.
