HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – The redheaded stranger will wind his way back to the Rocket City.
Country music legend Willie Nelson will perform at the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall at the Von Braun Center Oct. 7, and tickets go on sale Aug. 17.

Tickets are $47.75 (plus $11.85 in fees).
Nelson’s 2012 album “Heroes” features guest turns from Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Jamey Johnson and even Snoop Dogg. The 79-year-old singer/songwriter has played Huntsville several times over the years, including a 2010 show.
Nelson is revered for writing gems like “Crazy,” popularized by Patsy Cline, as well as his own performances of classics including “On The Road Again” and “Whiskey River.”
