Thanks to the sold-out success of 2011′s inaugural Johnny Cash Music Festival, officials at Arkansas State University, the event’s host site, and festival founder Bill Carter have opted to do it once more.
This year’s festival in honor of “The Man in Black” will take place Oct. 5 at ASU’s Convocation Center in Jonesboro beginning at 7:30 p.m. (local time). And thus far, big-draw talents Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley and Cash’s hit-making daughter, Rosanne Cash, along with the Civil Wars, are among the first to confirm their participation.
Ticket info: Tickets for the Johnny Cash Music Festival are on sale now at ASU’s Central Box Office and online at www.tickets.astate.edu. Tickets may also be purchased by logging onto the official website of the Johnny Cash Music Festival.
To purchase tickets by phone, please call 1-888-278-3267. Ticket prices are $150, $75 and $37.50, plus applicable fees and taxes. The $150 ticket entitles the bearer to a pre-show meet ‘n’ greet with the artists that will be held at ASU’s Convocation Center.
