Celebrity Cruises International has announced a partnership with Willie Nelson, who will host his annual 4th of July Picnic on a celebrity cruise in the summer 2012. The 15-day trip to beautiful Northern Europe will include a 5-day stay in Amsterdam and visits to the Balkan capitals of Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki.
On board activities will include dominoe tournaments, poker games, salon and spa, drinking and dancing. The grand ship “Excesia” will host a floating honky tonk, with live music 24-hours-day.
Other artists commited to the cruise include Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Bush, Ray Price, Jamey Johnson, David Allen Coe, Ray Wiley Hubbard, Billy Joe Shaver, Waylon Payne, Jessi Colter, Owen and Luke Wilson and Woody Harrelson, with more to be announced later.

It would sell out so fast. I should have just taken $500 deposits from everyone who wanted to go, and then I could retire. But then, of course, I couldn’t show up at any Willie Nelson & Family shows and face you all, so what good is that.
