Willie Nelson will be honored by the Texas Heritage Songwriters’ Association on March 1, 2009, at their Fifth Annual Homecoming concert in at the Paramount Theater, in Austin. Also being honored are Guy Clark, Michael Martin Murphey and Allen Shamblin. The concert and awards ceremony will feature performances by this year’s honorees in an intimate, in-the-round songwriter showcase.
