Willie Nelson Wine

Winemakers Pagosa Springs Winery, of Pagosa, Colorado,  has announced the launching of their Willie Nelson Wine.   The wine, described as “a bold and rebellious merlot, with plum and clove intertwined with hints of rich bacon fat, ripe blackberry jam and vanilla flavors. Supple and balanced, notes of cinnamon and chocolate peek through on the finish of this wine, perfect for any Outlaw.”  The company says the wine will be released in early 2013.

I thought you were a veggie, Linda ;-) or did you mean wine with a smokey taste? There is a kind of whiskey with a smokey taste and also a kind of tea, called Lapsang (Souchong). Very tasty … I mean the tea :)

@Pat, is that a Texan saying? Does it mean that I we thought the same, but I wrote it first? I love to learn those sayings :)

no, bacon! I don’t drink it, just read that as a flavor somewhere and thought it would be good for a fake wine. I could have put barbeque!
