Willie Nelson, well-known for his fondness for playing poker, may have won the biggest pot of his life — or at least one of them. On a recent break from the road in Hawaii, Willie and some friends were playing poker, and a neighbor, so sure of his hand — bet a private island, part of the Hawaiian Island archepelego. The businessman had inherited the island as part of a real estate transaction 30 years ago. The island is uninhabited, but has a home and a private airstrip on the island. Nelson, a long-time resident of the island of Maui, said he plans to build a private recording studio on the island for him and his friends.
