when Willie was here in 2006 (?) he sold the place OUT! It was unbelievable! I thought the whole population of Florida was there! He had the twins that look like preachers with him-I know one is Jack-they have something to do with the buses.They were a nice addition.Also, Lukas and Micah played.Fantabulous!
Make sure you go on the boats,gives you a different perspective of Florida.The real Florida!much better than the highrises on the beach.

I love Silver Springs, and the boats. I was raised by my aunt and uncle (my folks were killed in a car accident when I was 12, sadly, other driver was drunk) and they used to take us to Florida, by car, a couple times a year. They took us to all the sites: Weeki Watchi, Silver Springs, Cape Canaveral, Cypress Gardens, Busch Gardens. I love those glass bottom boats, I can still remember how cool they were.

I wanted to be one of those mermaids when I grew up. Too late, now, I guess.

that’s funny, Dee. It may well be! I remember how different the women always looked out of the water. I saw one on one of our visits, hair scraggly, very pale. It affected me! Kind of like seeing Snoopy smoking in the back lot at Disneyland or something.

No, but Dee could start a trend. You know, the more I think about it, I don’t think we are too old. Everyone looks glamorous under water, with the lights and everything. You are already glamorous, Dee. Maybe we can live our dream!
I think The ink would definitely add to the whole mermaid experience.Maybe it could be a complete Willie themed show.Go for it Dee!
