Every week now, Bill asks Willie about his Fourth of July picnic next summer, which will be at the new Back Yard just outside Austin, Texas. Is Club Luck also going to offer the tickets?
I haven’t heard yet, Monique. When the picnics were in Ft. Worth for a few years, they sold tickets, and let fan club members in 30 minutes early. Last year, at 4th of July concert in South Bend, IN, they did not — but that was a show with Bob Dylan and John Mellencamp, too, part of that summer tour. I think Club Luck will let us know as soon as they know.

I buy extra tickets to shows all the time, and (most always) can sell them before a show. Sometimes I don’t bother to re-sell them, give them away, but whenever I try to sell them and spend some time outside up front, I always can. It’s a hassle, but you usually end up making some fans happy when you sell them the tickets. Did you e-mail Club Luck, or All Access directly about the Club Luck/early entrance tickets?
I have been thinking about that too, Linda: just buy them and eventually re-sell them or give them away later … I e-mailed to All Access.

There will be food and drink. If you are a vegetarian, though, my experience has been to bring snacks.
