The case is closed for members of Willie Nelson’s band cited in January for having marijuana and moonshine.

Three members of the band pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct charges, while marijuana and moonshine charges were dismissed.

The plea deal was worked out in a Duplin County courtroom Wednesday, more than three months after six band members were cited prior to a show in Kenansville.

Alcohol charges against the other three band members were dismissed, while authorities say it turns out the moonshine discovered belonged to the former owner of the tour bus.

Thomas Hawkins, Kenneth Koepke, and Dudley Prewitt had to pay a $25 fine. The three appeared in court through their lawyer.

I want to reimburse them for their $25 fines! LOL! ;)

That’s a great idea, George. Next time we see them, let’s give them a $25 gift card to Starbucks or something.

I wish they would fight the fines, but that is a hassle.
