Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July Picnic at the Gorge

Well, it’s not Texas, but if Willie is gathering with other friends and playing music on the Fourth of July, it sounds like a picnic to me, or at least a great time!

It’s official:

Willie Nelson is coming to the Gorge and he’s bringing some friends with him.
Tired of the typical backyard BBQ and fireworks on the Fourth of July? Well, how about some classic country music in Eastern Washington with Willie Nelson?

That’s right, the Redheaded Stranger is coming to the Gorge July 4 for his annual 4th of July Picnic.
Along with possibly bringing some fine, green … well, we’ll call it vegetables, to the picnic; Willie is also bringing Son Volt, Old 97’s, Drive By Truckers, and Amos Lee. Maybe they’ll bring the beer and potato salad.

Tickets go on sale May 12 at 9 a.m. and cost $79.00, $59.00, $49.00 and $35.00. There is also a specially priced four-pack of lawn tickets available for $99.00.
