The Bad Boy Lawn Mowers website at www.badboymowers.com have posted a behind-the-scenes video, and lots of great pictures, taken at the making of the music video for Willie Nelson’s song, “You Don’t Think I’m Funny Anymore.”  This song is on Willie’s new album, ‘Moment of Forever,’ which was released on January 29th.   The video was filmed last October in Luck, Texas, a western movie set on Willie Nelson’s ranch outside of Austin. 

Willie invited several friends and family members to star in the movie with him, including daughter Paula Nelson, son Micah Nelson, Jessica Simpson, Owen Wilson, Luke Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Woody Harrelson, Dan Rather, Johnny Bush.  In the video Willie wagers his star-studded pals $10,000 that Jessica Simpson could win a mower race against the men.  Daughter Lana Nelson, and Turk Pipkin produced/directed it, I think.

Friends have told me that they are playing the video before Willie Nelson and Family concerts, on their current tour, or at least they did at the show they were at.  But for the rest of us, we can see it on the weekend of February 23, 24, when Johnny Knoxville and Jackass take over MTV.

Their site says, “The association between Nelson and Bad Boy Mowers came about quite simply—Nelson says, “When I received my first Bad Boy Mower, “I immediately fell in love with this product and wanted to meet the folks from Arkansas that make these things. You can’t believe how much fun they are to ride.” Soon after meeting them a friendship formed that led to Willie’s video idea.
