Colorado voters have the opportunity to vote for Amendment 44 this year, which will amend Colorado law making the private use and possession of up to one ounce of marijuana legal for adults 21 and older. Last November Denver residents voted to make possession of less than an ounce of marijuana legal. Denver officials have said they will continue to prosecute people arrested with marijuana. It will still be illegal to sell, grow, or use it while driving or in public.
