Hemp Exhibit at President Harry Truman Library and Museum, Independence, Missouri

Hemp Hackle, used to comb the hemp, and separate the coarse part from the fine part, and then it could be used to make rope and other products.

In Kansas City for Farm Aid, I took a side trip and drove to Independence, Missouri yesterday to indulge my interest in presidential history, and visited President Truman’s Library and Museum. The museum had a small exhibit on history of hemp in Missouri.
