Johnny Cash’s Tennessee Home Burns

April 11, 2007 — HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – Johnny Cash’s lakeside home was destroyed by fire yesterday. Cash and his wife, June Carter, had lived there from the 1960s until their deaths in 2003.

The three-story, 14,000-square-foot house, which was featured in Cash’s “Hurt” video, was bought by Barry Gibb, of the Bee Gees, and his wife in January 2006 for $2.3 million, but they had not yet moved in.
