Lucinda Williams has a new album (10/24/06)

Well, it’s not really a new album, but Lost Highways Records, has added to this already incredible 1998 release with so many great additions, that is will seem like a new album, and is well worth the money.

The album, scheduled to be released on 10/24/06, was put together with Lucinda’s involvement and blessings, and has these additions:

  • newly remaster version of 1998 album
  • original un-issued verison of “Out of Touch”
  • 2 previously unreased tracks:  alternate version of “Still I Long For Your Kiss” and “Down the Big Road BLues”
  • full concert performace (WXPN Live at the World Cafe)
  • 13 performances drawn from Car Wheels album, and version of “Pineola,” “Hot Blood,” and “Changed the Locks”.
  • Guest performers:  Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Charlie Sexton, Buddy Miller
  • fancy deluxe packaging with lyrics, photos and essay
