Matthew Houck and Willie Nelson, Farm Aid 2009 (St. Louis, MO)

Matthew Houck/Phosphorescent made fans happy today, with post on his MySpace Place with release date of new album.  Last Year, he released his moving tribute to Willie Nelson and his music, with To Willie.  Willie heard the album, and invited Matthew to play Farm Aid last year, in St. Louis, Missouri.

The new Phosphorescent album Is coming

It’s called

“Here’s To Taking It Easy

(Tho The Jaws Of This World Wish Only

To Grab Hold Of Your Sweet Ass)”

But that title is a little long ain’t it

So how about we take it easy indeed

And just call it

“Here’s To Taking It Easy”

I listened to it yesterday

For the first time since we finished it

& simply put 

I can not wait 

For this sucker to drop

The first song from it is now up
