This card was designed by Steve Brooks, and I apologize to him and everyone that it’s cut off. Steve kindly gave me this card, and I couldn’t figure out how to scan the entire card, without bending it, which I didn’t want to do. It is so cool.
If you’ve been a fan of Willie Nelson and Family for any length of time, you are familiar with the artwork of Dallas artist Steve Brooks. Steve has been creating WIllie Nelson artwork for years — posters, flyers, cards, matchbook designs, movie sets, etc., etc. To hear Steve talk he was a self-taught graphic artist who was at the right place at the right time. But he is so creative, and he may be lucky, but he’s very talented, too. In addition to Willie Nelson & Family, he also made posters for just about every big touring rock band that came through Texas in the ’70s.
