Whew, this was the news Paul English fans all over the world were waiting to hear.
When news started to spread that Paul English was ill, that he missed a show, that Bea was on the drums one night — everyone got nervous, calling, e-mailing and texting, reaching out for news on how our favorite drummer was doing. Then, a few articles quoting “anonymous, well-placed, reliable sources” reported that he had suffered a stroke.
And today, www.WillieNelson.com gave the news we wanted to hear: Paul is getting better, he’s home, he’s recuperating, he’s looking forward to going back on the road with the band, on the European tour.
