SiriusXM to Broadcast Farm Aid 2011 Live on Willie Nelson’s Willie’s Roadhouse, including performances by Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews, Jason Mraz, Jamey Johnson, Jakob Dylan and more.

Willie Nelson’s SiriusXM music channel, Willie’s Roadhouse, will be home to Farm Aid 2011, broadcasting the historic show live from LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in Kansas City, KS on Saturday, August 13, with backstage interviews and behind-the scenes coverage hosted by SiriusXM’s Dallas Wayne.

Willie’s Roadhouse listeners will hear the concert live, including performances by Farm Aid President, Willie Nelson and board members Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews, as well as performances by Jamey Johnson, Jakob Dylan, Jason Mraz, Ray Price, Billy Joe Shaver, Lukas Nelson & the Promise of the Real (featuring Willie Nelson’s son), Will Dailey & the Rivals, Robert Francis, John Trudell, Rebecca Pidgeon and The Blackwood Quartet.

“Farm Aid 2011” will air on Saturday August 13, at 2:00 pm ET through midnight on Willie’s Roadhouse, channel 56. 

Each year, the Farm Aid concert shines a spotlight on the important work of family farmers and raises money for Farm Aid’s work to keep family farmers on the land to guarantee good food from family farms. The Farm Aid concert features a full day of music, farm-fresh food, farmers and fun for the whole family. 

Willie’s Roadhouse plays classic country from the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s.  Listeners will hear Merle Haggard, George Jones, Conway Twitty, Johnny Cash, Charley Pride, Loretta Lynn, Ronnie Milsap, Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings and more.
