If you’ve ever attended a Farm Aid festival (or tuned in on TV, radio or the webcast), you know that it’s so much more than a concert. Farm Aid is a joyous, inspiring and meaningful day because of the diverse community of farmers, artists, activists, volunteers, festivalgoers and donors like you who come together to honor, uplift and support our family farmers.
Gathering with our community again in September at Farm Aid 2021, I was reminded that the festival connects us all to the source of our food, to music and to each other. Hearing the stories of family farmers from the stage, meeting them in the HOMEGROWN Village, and enjoying the good food that results from their hard work inspires us to stand up for family farmers. Because of the commitment of people like you, Farm Aid has worked since 1985 to achieve our mission to build a vibrant, family farm-centered system of agriculture in America. We are strong, and family farmers are strong, because we know that we can count on your support.
For thirty-six years, Farm Aid has stood with family farmers to keep them on the land growing the good food we depend on. We’ve advocated for fair farm policies that promote resiliency, sustainability, equity and diversity across our food system. And, we’ve connected farmers and eaters because we know that we can only truly achieve the food system we need if we work together.
Farm Aid will continue to be there for our essential family farmers, and we hope you will too.
With thanks,
