Sure, you could get a photo of your kid/dog/self with Santa this year, just like everyone else. Or, you could make sure everyone on Instagram knows that you’re from Austin by posing with a 10-foot-tall version of the Red Headed Stranger.
You can find this Willie replica — styled as a nutcracker, complete with a holiday-themed bandana — at Domain Northside, 11700 Domain Blvd. in North Austin.
The shopping center is all decked out for the holidays and is holding an Instagram photo contest through Jan. 1. The Willie nutcracker isn’t the only photo op spot; there’s also an armadillo snowman, a cowboy Santa and an ornament-bedazzled frame.
Throughout the month, there will be live music, carolers and carriage rides to make your shopping a little more merry.
