Willie Nelson and Carly Goodwin were nominated for two awards at the 2006 Los Angeles Music Awards. Their duet of Willie’s “Crazy” has been nominated for Best Single of the Year. This song won Goodwin a European Country Music Award earlier this year.  The event, in it’s 16th year, seeks to recongize and honor independent music across the country. It takes place on November 9, 2006, at the Music Box Theater in Hollywood, California.Â
A fresh face on the country music scene, newcomer Goodwin has been traveling the globe, climbing to the top of European country music charts and earning prestigious industry accolades and recognition along the way.Â
“Music is my passion and making music that transcends cultural, racial and language barriers, and that unites people through a common channel is my ambition,” said Goodwin. “I am truly honored and excited to be a Los Angeles Music Award nominee. I am so happy that my music has been able to reach people around the world from Los Angeles to Europe to the Middle East. I am truly fortunate to have such amazing fans that continue to support me in all of my endeavors.”
Goodwin’s self-titled album, produced by Grammy Award winner Carl Jackson, features hit singles like “Crazy,” “Baby Come Back Home,” and “Just Another Mountain” and is available at carlygoodwin.com, amazon.com, and iTunes. For more information on Carly:  www.carlygoodwin.com.
