Artists young and old grabbed the reins on the first full week of Spring and delivered some eye-popping eye candy for all to enjoy. Willie Nelson unveiled the extremely affecting video for “Old Timer” from his forthcoming album God’s Problem Child. Meanwhile, young people take center stage in the video for Mura Masa & Charli XCX’s “1 Night”.
Jonah Hill took the directing chair for Danny Brown’s “Ain’t It Funny”, and grabbed an all-star cast, including cult director Gus Van Sant. There is nothing laughable about the video, which takes a look at the dark world of addiction. Craig Finn, meanwhile, takes viewers inside a normal day in his life. And that was only the beginning for a week filled with fresh new videos.

Willie Nelson is 83 and he knows it. Nonetheless he continues to create new music and tour, and, somehow, keeps getting better. “Old Timer” and its accompanying music video are impactful.
