Willie Nelson Honored at Nobelity Project Gala

On a beautiful April Sunday evening in Austin, Texas, Lyle Lovett, Bill Paxton, Kyle Chandler, Ricardo Chavira and 40 more great Texas artists gathered at the Four Seasons Austin to honor Willie Nelson, one of the stars of the new film, One Peace at a Time, now known as “The movie that built a high school!”

The forty Texas celebs hosting tables at the dinner included Bill Paxton, Lyle Lovett, Kyle Chandler, honorary Texan Peter Fonda, Ricardo Chavira, Robert Earl Keen, Dana Wheeler Nicholson, Shawn Colvin, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Hannibal Lokumbe, Charlie Sexton, Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis, and many more.

The culmination of the night included Willie, Lyle, Robert Keen, Joe Ely, Ray Benson and Texas jazz legend Hannibal Lokumbe on an inspiring rendition of Willie’s On the Road Again and an uplifting 500-person sing-a-long with Willie on Amazing Grace!
